New Family Shelter Picking up Steam
2011 brought a very welcome addition to the mission; we acquired an old school building in Northridge that we are remodeling to become our new Family Shelter. With roughly 12,000 square feet and a good sized piece of property, we will be able to provide shelter for about 30 families. We will also offer expanded programming to help these families take the needed steps to wholeness and a home.
This new facility will also house most of our offices, as well as the commercial kitchen that will prepare meals for not only the resident families, but those we serve on the streets through our Rescue SOS program. Watch for opportunities to partner with us in completing this project.
